Comments:

After PV, it was 2 years at U of Alabama (BIG mistake), 2 years Army (1 of which was in Vietnam), several years in sales, got married, returned to school in Dayton, OH, got BS & MBA. On graduation, took job with huge accounting firm in Cleveland, lived there for 21 years (WHAT was I thinking???), divorced, moved to Dallas in 1998.

Several jobs here, got married, divorced again, now consulting for international firm. Mostly I develop Access database applications. Still in Dallas and loving it.

I enjoyed my PV experience for the most part. Parents were getting divorced during senior year, I was terrified of girls (although I fell in love with a different girl every week or so), so I was pretty shy, despite my comedic personna. I made some friends who drew me out a bit and I'm grateful to them.

I love Tucson. I always have a good time at the reunions and look forward to seeing how pathetic you people look now. :) Except for Linda Scalise who hasn't aged a day - what a beauty, inside and out.

I hope you'll be there in '09... before long, we'll be dropping off the roster. Come, even if you hate it - there will always be people happy to see you again. I'm one of them.

School Story:

I was on the tennis team at PV (yes, we had one). I was awful, but thankfully there were 10 slots (I was #10). I baked out on the courts, but my tan looked great in my "whites".

The thing that kept me interested was being able to ogle Diane Cannella and Barb Jameson who played on the girls tennis team.

Haven't played tennis since. But I could be convinced to play with Diane or Barb any day. Tennis, that is. :)

Hi, LInda, and happy birthday (I think I overshot it by a day, but my heart is in the right place). I hope this finds you well, happy and healthy. You are probably the sweetest, most upbeat person I've ever known, and I'm so very glad to know you.

Um... those fires in Tucson didn't have anything to do with your birthday cake, did they? My kids have told me that my cake is now presents not only an imminent fire hazard but a threat to the environment.

Happy Birthday, my friend.

Happy Birthday, Dick. I hope you are happy and well and avoiding The Plague. I've heard that there may be annual PV mini-reunions going forward, which sounds good to me. Sad to wait 5 years and then have something come up at the last minute to prevent attendance then have to wait another 5 years. And let's face it, at our age, odds are that fewer people will be in attendance anyway. I have some really wonderful memories of my 4 years in Tucson and of the kids at PVHS. It's so interesting to see how folks are getting along today, what they did with their lives so far, what has been important and what hasn't. I enjoy those get-togethers immensely, and sadly I've missed too many.

It was fun catching up with you at the 50th. I hope we'll get to spend some more time together if the reunions go annual. You're one of the folks who really stood out in my PV experience, someone I liked and admired and am so happy to have known.

So happy birthday, my friend, and many happy returns of the day.

Many happy returns of this day.

Hi, Kelly. I know I'm a week early, but Happy Birthday nevertheless. Hey, there's a mid-term (i.e., 55th) reunion this Fall in Tucson. I'll try my utmost to make it - would like to see you again. Do you think you might be there?

Hi, JIm. Happy Birthday. May today be filled for you with happiness, good health and, of course, plenty of cake (ice cream optional).

Hope to see you again at the upcoming reunion this Fall.

Hi, Gene. Happy Birthday to you. Hope your day is filled with laughter, sunshine and, of course, too much cake and ice cream. I didn't realize that we are practically neighbors - I'm up the road in Dallas, and I get to Austin every year for the MotoBP motorcycle races (Apr-May).

All the best to you.

Proving once again that cell phones make crappy cameras. My face was sunburned from riding with the top down all day. WHAT was I thinking?

Hi, Suzanne - you may not remember me (few people do), but we met at the PVHS Reunion 64. Wanted to wish you a Happy Birthday, one full of fun, laughs and presents you really like. And cake, of course.
